European Patent Litigation Agreement

The European Patent Litigation Agreement (EPLA) is a proposed international agreement to create a unified European patent jurisdiction.
The proposal has been considered dead since 2007.[1] Current efforts from the European Commission are focussed on the EU unitary patent and Unified Patent Court.
According to patent expert Alison Crofts, the EPLA was being pushed for by the pro-swpat lobby.[2]
