The following are example software patents. Patents are usually filed in multiple countries. Sometimes the application is changed slightly to comply with the formalities of a particular patent office. It's useful to find the local patent number of these for as many regions as possible.
This is useful because some regions are not aware of their low standards. Politicians in Europe often boasted that the European Patent Office would reject Amazon's silly one-click shopping patent, but the EPO actually approved it.
