country-region-todo

The Swedish government, during its 2009 presidency of the European Union, pushed hard to get agreement on the United Patent Litigation System.

Courts system

There is no known case law regarding software patents in Sweden.

A special court exists to review decisions by Sweden's Patent and Registration Office.[2]
