Sonia Sotomayor, or Justice Sotomayor joined the US Supreme Court in 2009.
Sotomayor was previously married to a patent lawyer.[1] This lead to some worries that she would be very pro-patent, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Bilski hearing
In the Bilski v. Kappos hearing of November 2009, she called the CAFC's ruling on in re Bilski "extreme".
