SGI and Graphics Properties Holdings Inc.
Silicon Graphics, Inc. was bought by Rackable Systems, which then started using the name Silicon Graphics International Corp. There is also a related entity called Graphics Properties Holdings, Inc. (GPHI) but the exact relationship is unclear.[1]
SGI sold software patents to Microsoft in 2002.[2] Microsoft sold them to OIN in 2009.
