Legislation in Belgium is officially published in French and in Dutch and sometimes in German. Below are parts of Belgium's legislation which are relevant to the patenting of software ideas.

The 1984 patent law

1) les découvertes ainsi que les théories scientifiques et les méthodes mathématiques;

2) les créations esthétiques;

3) les plans, principes et méthodes dans l'exercice d'activities intellectuelles, en matière de jeu ou dans le domaine des activités économiques, ainsi que les programmes d'ordinateurs;

4) les présentations d'informations.

Remarks

This is word for word the same as Article 52 of the European Patent Convention (French version[1]), except for minor formalities ("patent" vs. "european patent", and the numbering of paragraphs).
