Whether MS is aggressive
Hi,
In your recent edit [1], is there a connection between the edit summary and the edit? Or are you highlighting two separate problems.
Regarding your edit summary ("and uses its own software patents aggressively..." Whatever you say google...), are you saying that article needs to provide evidence for the claim that Microsoft is "aggressive"?
I suppose the biggest example would be Microsoft claiming to have 300+ patents on Android systems and asking distributors to buy a licence. This is "aggressive" in the sense that Microsoft are asserting their patents without having been provoked. So it's aggressive rather than defensive use of patents.
With a mention of the Android example, would the intro be sufficiently clear and accurate? Ciaran (talk) 18:54, 1 July 2015 (EDT)
