Talk:Microsoft Community Promise, and the OSP

Together or split

I put the two topics OOXML and Mono in the same article because they're both MS technologies covered by MS's OSP patent promise. Are the issues with each distinct enough to suit separate articles? My first thought would be to wait until the article gets bigger before making two even smaller articles from it. Ciaran 11:00, 29 June 2009 (EDT)

I gave the OSP its own article, because info about it is appearing in various places and needed pulling together. One option would be to move the OOXML, Mono (and any other stuff under the OSP), into the OSP article until it grows too big, and make this page a redirect like the Mono one is. Good or bad? steelpillow 17:04, 29 June 2009 (EDT)
The OSP article makes sense alright. I'm not sure exactly what split is right for the related topics, so I'll merge them into the OSP article for now (I'll do it via move/delete so as to preserve the page views count - a useful statistic for which pages are getting attention).
